A new year! 2014 happenings

So far so good for 2014.

I have went back to the ear specialist 2 times since my last update and I passed the hearing tests and the ladies were very impressed that I knew all of my shapes.  The doctor said there is still a little fluid on my left ear, but he isn't all that concerned.  We scheduled a follow up for 6 months to have another look.

Our traveling has slowed and I have been enjoying learning new things every day.  I know all of my shapes and colors and can count to ten.  I love to read books with Mama - some of my favorites are:  Go Dog Go, Let's Go to the Farm, Elmo's Day, Where's Spot, and Micky Mouse Picnic.  I love to sing along with Mama, some of my favorite songs are:  The Wheels on the Bus, Oh Where, Oh Where, Hush Little Baby, and Apples and Bananas.  I sometimes sing along to the alphabet song and love the letter M - for Maverick and Mama.

I met my friend Harlow and her new baby sister, Hayley, at the Discovery Center last weekend and we had so much fun.  I miss Harlow, she will no longer be going to school with me, but Mama said we will still have play dates.

I love to play outside - we take walks with Oliver, go to the playground to swing and play on the slides.  I also love to kick my ball and chase it.  There is a bird feeder right outside Mama's bedroom window and we love to watch the birds and squirrels eat from it.

I love playing with my Jack in the Box and my building blocks, my favorite thing to do is knock the blocks down once we stack them up.

Oliver turned 7 yesterday and we celebrated by wearing party hats and eating cupcakes... I LOVE cupcakes!  They are delicious!  I also love dill pickles and pudding!

Here are some pictures and videos since my last post. Enjoy!

Look, it's Curious George!

One of my favorites, the ball is floating in the air!

Bath night is another favorite of mine - I got in before Mama undressed me - diaper and all.

Another one of my favs - playing peek-a-boo!

For some reason the cupcake video won't load, but this was my face after Mama told me they were all gone..

Last post for 2013! Happy Holidays!

Hello!

As the 2013 year comes to an end I would like to wish all of you a very happy and safe holiday season!  I hope you get to spend it with the ones you love and make every moment count.

Now - time to catch you up with what I have been up to over the past couple of months.  As you saw in my previous post I was a cow for Halloween.  Mama took a few pictures, but had a hard time getting a good one because I don't like to stand still for a second these days, I have to go, go go.  I did not get to go trick or treating as I was a little under the weather.

Mama and I went to a pumpkin patch, Lucky Ladd Farms in Eagleville, TN for Halloween.  There were so many fun things to do - a corn maze, tire swings, barrel rides, slides, and lots of pumpkins.

We went to cousin Harper's 4th birthday party in Roswell.  She had a princess dance party, it was fun to run around and watch all of the fairy princesses dance.

Thanksgiving was spent with mama's friends.  We went to Chuck and Connie's house and had a wonderful turkey dinner.  We had a very nice time and the highlight of my night was watching the fire and helping Chuck put wood in the fireplace.

Fast forward to December...

I participated in my first play.  It was through the daycare and I was dressed up as a reindeer with all of my classmates.  Mama said I just stood there and watched all of the others do the reindeer hokey pokey, but I was having fun.  After the play aunt Shelley and family came to visit along with Grandpa Steve and we went to the Ice exhibit at the Opry.  I was not a fan of the cold and I had a cold, but I had fun for the most part.

Mama, Kim, Benton and myself went to see the Dancing Lights of Christmas at Jellystone Park.  It was neat watching all of the lights dance to the music and afterward I got to sit on Santa's lap and feed goats.

We rode on an airplane to Florida to have fun in the sun and sand.  The weather was beautiful and I had a blast with cousins Leo and Teddy. We took a catamaran ride one day and the water was cold, but it was so much fun.  Mama buried my feet and hands in the sand and I got to look for buried treasures on the beach thanks to Judy, Teddy and Leo's grandma.  Grandpa Steve fed me breakfast a couple of mornings, I sure love bananas and oatmeal, just ask him.

Grandpa Steve drove us back to Nashville and spent Christmas with us.  We had homemade tacos and went to candlelight service on Christmas Eve.  On Christmas morning we opened lots of presents and had a wonderful turkey dinner.  We love having Grandpa here with us, he is pretty silly, just like me.

Here are some pictures from the past couple of months.  Enjoy and have a happy new year!
