It has been many months since my last blog post and I sure do have a lot to catch you all up on. Please bear with me as I make an attempt to do so.
For Halloween, I dressed up as Spiderman and went trick or treating at the Zoo. We went with Miss Susan, Mommy's friend, and her kiddos, Sayla and Cannon, my buddies. Sayla dressed up at Elsa from Frozen and Cannon as Batman. We went on a hay ride there and had so much fun playing games and riding the train and carousel.
We spent Thanksgiving in Roswell with all of our family and helped Aunt Shelley host the dinner at her house. It was so much fun to get to spend the time with all of my cousins there and it was sad to leave as we knew we were moving very far away from them soon.
We took our annual vacation to Florida in December and the weather was beautiful. Grandpa Steve, Grandma Susie, Gordy, and Cheryl all went and we had such a fun time.
Big news! At the end of 2015, we relocated to Burlington, Iowa after my short almost four years of being in Nashville and Mom was there for ten years. It was very bittersweet and we are adjusting quite well. I started a new daycare here and love all of my new friends. Mom is working at the hospital and is making some new friends as well. We miss all of our Nashville friends and neighbors so much and have been able to keep in touch as often as we can.
I turned 4 in February and we celebrated with a party at Happy Joe's Pizza Parlor with friends and family. I got so many cool gifts, the big one being a new Avengers bicycle! We have been getting to spend lots of time with our Iowa family, including Grandma Susie, Grandpa Steve, Aunt Stephanie, Uncle Steve, my cousins, Amy and Grant, Daddy and Sister, Isabella. We have sleepovers often and do all kinds of new and fun things!
Please enjoy the pictures from the past few months and I will try to post more often in the coming months. We are glad to start our new adventures in Iowa and Mommy says there is no place like home.
Love,
Maverick James
