Spring Has Sprung!

Greetings all.

What a fantastic month we have had.  We had another fun filled round of that white stuff and got to go out a play in it this time since the temperatures were a bit warmer than the previous ice storm. We went sledding, made snow angels, and built a snow girl.  Our upstairs neighbor had never seen a real live snow girl, so she enjoyed it very much.

We had visitors come all the way from Iowa, Aunt Stephanie and Cousins Amy and Grant.  We all traveled to Roswell to visit all of our other cousins, aunts, and uncles.  The weather was beautiful so we spent a ton of time outdoors jumping on the trampoline, playing t-ball, swinging and sliding in Aunt Shelley and Uncle Matt's backyard.   I had so much fun playing with all of my cousins and was sad to see them go.  We can't wait until we can all be together again.

I love to tell the story of the Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf and am using the potty on a pretty normal basis as of the past few weeks or so. I have become quite the chatterbox lately as well. Soon I will be wearing big boy underwear all the time.

My Birthday Month!

Greetings,

February was a big month for us.  Both of mama's boys turned a year older and we had a great time celebrating.  Oliver turned 8 on the 1st and I turned 3 on the 22nd.  My birthday party was at Pump It Up - an inflatable bounce house and I had lots of friends and family there to help celebrate.  I picked a Jake the Pirate birthday theme, so there were lots of Jake balloons and a Jake cake that was delicious.  I got lots of great gifts and enjoyed turning 3.  Grandpa Steve traveled down from Iowa and helped Mama out so much by keeping me entertained while she ran errands for the party and helped with setting everything up for the party as well.  He also helped put some of my gifts together so I could enjoy them.  Uncle Shae, Aunt Lisette, Teddy, Leo, and Baby Charlie traveled for the party and we got to swim at the hotel, it was so much fun!  I kept asking Mama if we could go back to their house to swim and ride in the elevator.

We also had the worst ice storm in years in the middle of the month.  The ice came down on a Sunday night through Monday morning and we were iced in for two days.  There is still ice on the ground in spots because it has been cold ever since.  Mama says she had never seen anything like it, even in her almost 30 years living in Iowa. We are so ready to see the spring daffodils and warmer days.  Makes moving to Florida a serious option at this point.

Winter Time!

Brrrr.  It is winter and we have had some cold days and some very nice days for January.  My goal is to update the blog on a monthly basis, you can call it my New Year's resolution.  We have had a pretty busy month of playing and learning around here.

Mama took me to the library for the first time for story hour and after that we picked out some new books to read.  After story hour it was a nice enough day to go out and play on the playground and it was big and lots of fun!

We have been playing with all of my new toys that Santa brought and some of my favorites are my Lego Duplo Batmobile and my jumbo Mr. Potato-head.  I also love to do puzzles.  I am learning how to trace letters at school and can count to 40.  I love to play dress up and watch Spider-man shows on Netflix.

I have been using the potty both at home and at school.  Mama is very proud of me and is hopeful that I will be wearing underwear by the time I am 3!
